The Horse

Here's the Horse. Again, from the Chinese Zodiac - you can find the other finished pieces (snake and rooster) in my gallery (I'm too lazy to link them ).

Not much to say. Hand was a pain in the ass as usual, as well as the pose. The cloudy smoke horse on the background makes it clear that I haven't drawn horses in a while

Heh, when I was a kid I (like probably alot of other girls too - I'm not so sure on how boys like horses) I drew nothing but horses. I made my first attempts at capturing the human form when I was about 12 or so. So yeah, horse is probably one of the only animals I actually can draw without a reference. Birds are especially tricky. Wings are easy enough (well, I can make them look like they're supposed to be wings and that's good enough for me) but I just can't figure out where the legs are supposed to go..

Again, too many hours, Wacom Graphire tablet and Photoshop7.
