The working title for this piece was "A seal in Purple Pudding", but I decided to go for the more classiv "The Dragon" in the end.
I was trying to get the feeling of a late autumn/ early winter morning, when there not yet snow on the ground, but the frost and mist is making the landscape white.
As usual, Photoshop 7, Wacom Graphire, about a day.

Anyway, I'm loving this series of yours. This, definitely is my favourite, probably because it's my year! ('88)
The cool hues really make the image pleasing to look at! Quite contrasting to what Dragons are usually known for -- all that fire and shabam.

But yeah, there's tons of excellent artists here on dA, who should get more regocnition, as today's favourites or popular or whatever it's called now is pretty much the same few people all over again everyday... But then again, there's not much one can do about it, so I tend not to let it bother me
